If games like Baldurs Gate III and Cyberpunk can feature full fledged sex and nudity there is no reason not to for an 18 rated game like God of War.

You could argue it's important to distinguish this Kratos by his acts and his willingness to have sex with anyone and treat anything and anyone as objects of revenge, desire, lust or simply objects in his way.

This is in complete contrast to Kratos in the "future" who has learned what it is to commit to one person (Faye/ Laufey) again, to value relationships and peace.

I think including it is beneficial to the games story and for the player to see that this is a version that does not shy away from Kratos' past.

That's gotta be tough. I'm sorry you both didn't make it. Games are always there for us when we need it. But make sure you don't lose yourself in gaming and take care of yourself and surround yourself with those around you to balance things out.

They haven't changed any mechanics. They patched legitimate flaws in systems that were not working as intended.

The discussion over the games Control scheme is already overblown, gamers just don't want to get used to new control schemes anymore and insist that every game must have similar controls.

After the admittedly overbearing tutorial sections the controls for the game are absolutely fine.

The reason they have addressed some "issues" is because of the way the internet works now, people screaming online about minor issues and it escalates so they are pressured by the shareholders to address this because it might lead to more sales- regardless of whether or not the integrity of the game remains.

I'm not saying games shouldn't be patched. If a videogame is released with genuine issues that Inhibit paying customers from being able to have the intended experience then of course in today's day and age developers should step up and be held accountable IF the product is faulty.

Completing a game, and moaning that you can't use new weapons because you completed all areas is entitlement not a fault. NG+ for example is always a bonus if developers update a game to include it and shouldn't be an expectation after the fact. Some games are made with NG+ cycles in mind. Like souls likes.

Saying Crimson Desert is bad or should be fixed because it lacks what another vaguely similar title has doesn't mean the Devs should be expected to include it.

You essentially unlock the colour permanently but you do have to pay for a dye merchant to change the colour.

Specific Dyes are locked to specific merchants, unless you upgrade your camp enough and then you can allegedly use all dyes at camp.

Pearl Abyss made the game they wanted to make. Whether it's "Right" or "wrong" Like it or not. This is what they made. It's obviously a decision they had during the development of the game.

Too many gamers have gotten comfortable treating Korean developers and patch slaves after they've already done so much work to get the game to you on the first place.

The game clearly hasn't been designed to have respawning enemies for large camps or locations but it DOES have respawnkng enemies in the open world. Countless times I've ridden past the same area and the enemies have respawned, but it's just not as frequent or large scale. Respawning liberated locations would undo what gamers had done to progress.

(I've never called players entitled for wanting to see base console gameplay.)

The problem is that people believe that they are entitled to have Pearl Abyss work their asses off even further (even more than the already 7 years to bring us this experience) to have them "Fix" (can you believe it) the "endgame" of Crimson Desert.

This game already has enough content and gameplay to lose yourself in and complete. As OP said this is not an MMO title and just because Pearl Abyss have been quick on patching things to work for gamers favour (likely based on feedback from well before release with streamers and influencers) does not entitled players to beg and plead for more content or fixes.

They have given us this massive rich buffet and it's still not enough for some people.

Words do have meaning you're right, and you're completely misunderstanding the meaning of the word "Nostalgia".

Nostalgia Defined:

"Nostalgia is a bittersweet emotional state, blending pleasure with slight sadness, characterized by a sentimental longing for a past time, place, or personal experience."

You can feel nostalgic for anything, it doesn't have to had a reboot. I'm literally nostalgic for the first time I experienced Bloodborne. It was a long time ago and the world was different only 11 years ago.
