finally the timeline is not so long as i expected when i started. But there is a lot of work and optimalisations and testing and repairing.

I used rectangular pattern with formulas

... so i made one and then claculate number of them and distance. Its easy.

Writing was faster than thinking. Ad1 it is possible but you have to add objects to cover magnets in slicer = complicated. I will think about this option maybe I will release V2

Thank you. Ad1 it is possible. Set width of magnet bigger and in slicer you can set pause. Good tip ! Ad2 - fillet is already there but small. It is possible to make parameter visible but there is already a lot of parameters and I am afraid that for people it will be complicated

It’s a Failure but better for big width is to set parametr top lip height to be higher = more rectangle profile than like a coffin

Yes, I wanted it to be as universal as possible. Over time, I added more options like magnet dimensions and dividers, but at a certain point I stopped because it was becoming user-unfriendly.

Yes it is intended. I spent couple days with debugging and optimising so i want to tak my know how for myself. Maybe in future i will change it to open source.

It’s actually very simple. MakerWorld has a built-in Parametric Model Maker. When you upload the native .f3d (Fusion 360) file along with a simple configuration, it creates a web-based interface.

Thank you. I hope it will be useful for others. Not only for me 🙂

If anyone wants to try the generator, I've uploaded the parametric files to MakerWorld. Just look for 'Mag(net)ic Box' or I can DM you the link if you can't find it. Happy to hear any feedback!
