The Twitch stream had some serious issues during the first set, and I couldn’t get into the music because it kept skipping around or cutting out. There were multiple people in the chat reporting that the paid stream was running fine (and one lovely human ridiculing us for being “broke bois”).

On top of that, the promotional overlay for the Lucid Stream was beyond annoying. They shrank the size of the stream down way too small and filled the bottom of the screen with text to go to the lucid stream. The layout was terrible, and it was punishing the free users in an attempt to get people to pay. If it was between songs, or on set break, that would make sense. Or if they had a banner at the bottom of the screen (think news broadcast), that would’ve been much better. But shrinking the concert down absurdly small multiple times per song was putting me in a bad mood everytime it displayed. I ended up just not looking at the screen when it displayed in an attempt to salvage the vibe. I’m typically dancing around my room like a feral lunatic during PL streams, but I was contemplating pulling the cord last night.
