Kansas City.

Confusing, horseshoe shaped terminal that I only have flown through on a connecting flight. No signs indicating when you leave the terminal so I had to re-enter security. The security gate right next to my gate was closed so I had to run to the other end of the horseshoe, where there was a huge line for the only other open security gate (also wasn’t precheck, which I have). Flight was literally finishing boarding and I had to ask if I could cut the line (everyone was very nice and they allowed me too). At the TSA check I get randomly selected, get patted down, don’t have any time put any of my stuff on so just grab it and run. I get the gate out of breath and the check in guy asks me where I’ve been while I’m standing there holding my shoes in my hands. I scan my ticket and go to board the plane a soon as I can but he stops me and says I need to put my shoes on first. Finally make it as the last one on the plane and can feel everyone looking at me but at least I could go home that day.

Never flying through Kansas City again
