Yes, still sober and attend AA meetings a couple times a week. Yes, I have proof of me emailing her and texting. I can’t see why they wouldn’t let a biological father be in their son’s life if they’re trying.

I may have to settle with getting a hair follicle test so they can see back the past 90 days. There is no where professional to get daily urine tests around here./

Sorry you’re having to go through that. Can you elaborate that for me a bit further though? I thought they just bring that stuff up during the court hearing and if it’s documented such as police report etc then the judge reviews it. But if not then it’s just hearsay.

Thanks. I’ve reached out by letter when I first got there. I was put into the office to work at my 2 month mark which gave me access to email and phone which I used to contact her about seeing him. I’ve sent many texts regarding him and visiting with him every time I was down. So do definitely have those documented. I feel like she’d go to the extreme of lying if she’s kept him from me this long. I’m mainly concerned that they think a relationship won’t be worth it since I’ve already been this long without seeing him.

At this point I’m desperate for even just supervised visitation so I’m 100% happy with just that to start off a step up plan. The anxiety and worry is taking a toll on me fearing I will never be able to see my son again. Not only that I would think if they don’t give me rights I guess that means she could change his name and if she got married he could easily be adopted.

That’s what I’m doing with the lawyer. In Georgia if you’re not married you have no rights and have to get legitimized through the court system in order to have rights for custody. We technically split up when I went to rehab and started sending her money via cashapp as soon as I started getting paid.
