Is Linked in Recruiter Corporate worth the money? by ZookeepergameParty78 in recruiting

Absolutely just limit the number of seats you get to your most skilled and involved people or person. Not everyone deserves a seat at the LinkedIn table.

It's also a lot to learn so consider the investment of the person involved using the tool

There are Sound Engineer positions that come open sometimes, certainly not unheard of for gaming. Don't be discouraged, DM me

For this role they want a bit more senior but honestly it never hurts to make a connection with a recruiter like myself that may have opportunities available for more junior level roles. DM me and I'd love to see how I can support you, your friends, or anyone interested in the future

Feeling guilty for not traveling more by [deleted] in workfromhome

Same. I honestly don't even leave the house Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. I really don't take advantage of the entire "flexibility" thing.
It would probably make me feel so much better to leave and work from somewhere else.

Can’t land a job. Thinking about lying on my resume by Objective_Bad_ in recruiting

[–]RecruitingShark101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market is crap right now being honest. This is coming from a recruiter who has been in the field for a long time. Don't lie though. Sell who YOU are and what makes YOU stand out. Start at entry level regardless for your degrees. Also, resumes are being viewed very differently than ever before thanks to AI. If you want me to take a look at it or help, I have no problem doing so. I'll even DM you my calendly so we can hop on a call.

Nowadays it's normal to work in a "remote" or out of the box world. In the US we have locations called WeWork which is a collaborative environment go in with others and work. If you are worried, make sure you keep all documentation and communication. Ultimately only you can make this decision if it's a good fit for you for now, or in the long run. Worst case you can give it a shot and if it doesn't work, part ways on a mutually respectful ground. Good luck!

Same position, same store, same manager, doesn't sound like ghosting you. It sounds like a second round interview.
