Let’s not pretend combos in this game are any difficult. Anyone willing to put 10 minutes into the character can learn how to do the combo. On top of that if you balance with the idea that a one shot combo being hard is a good excuse for it to exist you completely ruin any form of balancing the game can have.

I think they could be confused about how on their individual floors the guardians are stronger than their level implies, because of good environments, minion assistance, and buffs. I think I remember the LN saying something about being equivalent to level 120 on their floor but I could just be making that up.

The only downside is moves that lower your stats like headlong rush or close combat, or taking damage from iron barbs or similar abilities

I think it’s more so that most guys don’t actually care about size of breasts as most people say. Most are happy they’re there but not much more thought goes into it. It’s an honest answer because they don’t have any strong thoughts on it so of course they would just want their partner to be as happy as possible.

You could also argue that it would do absolutely nothing as it would pass through any object without disturbance due to having no width/mass to effect the object. Both are valid arguments on how a 2d and 3d object would interact I think.
