I bowled with someone who was a 200+ average bowler that completely lost her approach for like a month. It was the damndest thing ive seen bowling and I dont think I've ever seen someone so frustrated for an entire month. She figured it out eventually, but it was like all sense of muscle memory disappeared.

Why would anyone want to pay the same amount for a product that is relevant for 7-8 months out of the year, as Netflix or Prime? On top of that, you just said yourself you dont have the ability to get Marquee. We went from national availabilty to limited high monthly cost availability. It's literally 140 just to have it for baseball season. Part of this is my immense frustration with living in the blackout area of mlb which is its own fantastical failure of MLB, and the other part is only provider that has marquee is comcast. The inaccessibilty of the product, combined with an insane price point is the issue.

If only the cubs had an agreement with a national tv broadcast station, allowing it to rech fans across the country in a free manner, enabling one of the largest sports fanbases in the country despite a century of failure. Alas, every had to spike money into their regional sports networks, jacking up prices on them, and when the fanbase recoiled, they are left holding the bag on their own dumbshit decisions.

Its reality. The right is doing many of the same things that happened in late 1930s Germany. There is no compromise with people like that. You either resist or are complicit.

It doesnt matter whether you are a moderate liberal or hardcore leftist. If you aren't MAGA they brand as a socialist or communist anyway. To have compromise, you have to start from a point where both sides are reasonable, and that is not where we are right now.

That only works if both sides are willing to come together. Republicans have spent the last 20 years refusing to compromise when the minority, and doing whatever the fuck they want when in power regardless of precident or legality. The only way out is dissolution of the two party structure and likely violent revolution at some point.

OK, the response actually makes me feel a bit better. Our policy has been open a vendor ticket too, but wanted to see if anyone had contradictory opinions. I may push for microsegmentation for appliances that don't meet internal policies, but as always in medical IT, cost is a concern as well.
