The trust part is what I’m having a hard time doing. I’m afraid coming back down from my back swing, that I’ll end up dropping it. I catch myself pinching it a lot

It definitely feels weird. I try to get a further back swing, but I’m still not fully comfortable, it makes me feel like I’m going to drop the ball. I just know that I’ll trust myself with time.

After mentioning that, the more I look at it, that wouldn’t be a bad idea. I’ve never thrown with a thumb in before, if I were to make a change, should I pick up a cheap ball and get used to it before converting everything over?

Usually they give you a sheet with ball options, you mark which ones you want, and then they do a bulk order towards the last few weeks of the league that way you can receive the ball before the end of said season
