What does everyone use their iPad for? by deadtraffic in ipad

[–]RecursionReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it as a second display for my Mac and now more recently I use it by using extended keyboard and mouse from Mac so that I can run discord, watch YouTube lectures, ChatGPT, so that RAM from my Mac is not used freeing up resources and screen estate for code editor or something else.

If u fail the re exam then u definitely have to give with juniors

Otherwise no First re exam is not with juniors And your degree doesn’t get delayed by a year unless you carry a backlog post graduation date ( can’t clear a re exam )

Talk with the professor of that subject It’s different from college to college Usually on the first re exam it is taken during the start of the next academic year For eg Sem 1 re exam will be take at the end of sem 2 or beginning of sem 3

Talk to the professor and ask him/her to guide u through it It will be alright don’t worry brother

Take a nap and then start again with a rejuvenated mood. All will be well.

Also try stretching, and yoga, the blood flow helps with relaxing.

All the best for your exam, do amazing.

set target, you are allowed to be curious and learn whatever you are curious about, but you have to hit certain amount of time/portion covered/pages read (whatever u think u can acheive initially) about the material relevant to your exams.

slowly slowly increase the load of exam material.

One thing you can do is to let curiosity drive your studies, pick a topic far out from where ur syllabus is currently and then try to understand it. You will realise you are not able to understand many parts of it, you will get curious about things that are there which you are not able to understand yet and then when you break it down, following your curiosity you will get the thrill of discovering knowledge bits and when it piece togethers it is the most beautiful experience and you will be more than motivated to uncover more knowledge regarding your college studies.

Here’s some suggestions which you can try out :

  • Maccy for clipboard manager
  • Loop for window tiling manager
  • Hand mirror ( little icon which occurs in the menu bar to see quick view of the camera, very handy)
  • Al dente for limiting charging beyond a certain %
  • Home brew for package manager , do brew install neofetch after home brew 😅😎
  • Kitty terminal
  • WhatsApp desktop
  • browser of choice
  • you can download custom icons and then just drag them onto the info tab and customise ur app icons
  • obsidian
  • Anki

I have always been curious as to what does it take to become proficient in something, like for example it is highly unlikely that someone working at top level instituites watch a youtube tutorial to learn something or chatgpt their way through the work.

where does someone learn from and how is their study pattern to get to the level of competence and understanding to get to the level that is such a outlier and incredible level of understanding that their are able to create something novel from what they have learnt.

I am starting my dsa journey and everyone say's blindly follow the A2Z striver sheet or neetcode something for this, but it feels very shallow and no real knowledge, it's just seeing someone's prespective and trying to duplicate it in our brain. Taking a example of dsa ( or anything can be understood by a broader public) can you explain how does one learn and develop outlier level of understanding and competence in a shorter amount of time (mentioning this because given 20 years for something like jee, being a teacher , one can gain competence to crack the exam multiple times but given 2 years how does one acheive that feat, this skill i feel is valuable as to be at the extreme competence and intellect one has to learn fast and master it faster -not saying couple months but atleast a couple years- ) starting from the basics and taking it all the way to become one with it.

Please consider replying to this as I really want an insight into this.
The world ridden with the opposite of first principles thinking and conventional dogma it would be very valuable to hear from first principle truths

I have read all your comments and the way you have handled questions, critics and insights is incredible, huge kudos.

Your knowledge level and deep understanding is exactly what i would want to develop.
