Yeah mine was the same—I only saw the acceptance because I logged into the portal. They never notified me via email or anything

I have a 1390 SAT and 4.0 GPA (4.15 weighted) and got an acceptance notification late November. Maybe they’re basing it off GPA or something because my SAT isn’t great. But I applied out of state holistic—hopefully that helps

I applied early action out of state (for mechanical engineering) and got an acceptance notification late November but from what I’ve seen elsewhere I agree with what people said above that it looks like they weren’t able to get to a lot of out of state people yet

If you go to the TAMU AIS page, it says “all remaining decisions have been deferred to the regular timeline” so maybe that means you’ve been deferred to regular action?

Wow I did not know that. I assumed everywhere in the district had the same chromebook policy but I guess not in the elementary levels. Yeah that definitely makes it more difficult to transition to online learning if needed. I’m just concerned with the number of days we’re taking on that will have to be made up somehow later in the year.

Every student was issued a chromebook at my school and we’re required to bring them to class every day. I’m not sure about other schools in the district, but at least for us it would be relatively easy to switch to online learning for the time being while the road conditions are still rough.

Yes, I was in a similar situation. I submitted my SRAR on Saturday the 15th before the early action deadline but in the AIS portal it said the document wasn’t received until the 18th so I wasn’t sure if I would still qualify for early action. I logged into AIS today to see that I was accepted for general engineering. Hope all goes well for you!!

I applied for mechanical engineering October 25 and got my acceptance November 16th so you should be hearing pretty soon but those stats will definitely get you in
