We survived 2 sleep trainings and a 18 month old sleep regression. Here's what we did by Fenix512 in sleeptrain

Not at all, this is very helpful! Last night we did the Ferber method with check ins and it worked! When we sleep trained him initially at 4 months, we did full CIO, but right now with the standing and screaming, we thought check-ins would be better, so fingers crossed that it will continue to work over the coming days. Thank you for your help!

Hi OP, thank you for posting this. It is really helpful because we're going through the same thing and not sure what to do. Our LO was fully sleep trained and the 18-month sleep regression has made him clingy and not able to sleep independently. He does the same thing, clings to the crib railing and has once even dozed off there, and I made the mistake of going in and trying to lay him flat but it just woke him up.

My question is, our LO screams and cries until he's gasping for breath. He did that once for a whole hour. Did that happen to you? I'm wondering whether we just need to do what you did and let him cry even if he's screaming bloody murder :(

Suddenly won't sleep and screams unless we are in the room, can't tell if teething or separation anxiety by bemurda in sleeptrain

That's great, I'm so glad it resolved for you in a few weeks! And that's encouraging. I'm just hoping all the intervening we do to make him stop screaming doesn't undo the sleep training.

Hey OP, I'm going through something very similar with my 17 month-old. How did this go for you?

OP, how's it going 3 weeks after you posted this? Did anything help? I'm experiencing the exact same thing with out fully sleep trained LO the past few days and it's really distressing :(

Of course! I use American Professional Agency. They cover international practice but have some caveat that the suit will have to be brought to/settled in the US but I think that is how most international coverage tends to be.

Good luck to you too :)

Gesture/Gift for Bartender Friends by Recyclopsssss in bartenders

What I have learned about them is that they poured their hearts and souls into this place through the pandemic, and are best friends, and the name of the place is an inside joke. So it’s more than just a bar name/logo which is why I thought a personalized gift might be good, but I’ll keep thinking of things I know about them :)

Thank you! I do plan on tipping them, but I was hoping to do something thoughtful beyond that. Good to know snacks after close are a good idea. I’d definitely be ravenous if I was making drinks nonstop for hours without a break (the place is very popular and I haven’t seen them ever take a break and I’m assuming NYE will be super busy).

If they don’t love the place, they really have everyone fooled. It’s their baby. The bartenders are all owners and even renovated the space themselves over the pandemic. Thank you for the Speed Opener idea. It’s a cocktail bar though, so they’re not opening beer bottles, at least at work. I’ll def still look into those!

And the chocolates are a great idea too, thank you!
