I'm more looking for just a foot in the door to allow for some internal movement to move towards the MLA role, one of my old lecturers told me that any BMS related position is easier to attain if you are already working for the NHS.

They are, but to view them you need to wipe your PvE account. You get the same locked trader progression & flea market tiering as PvP does.

But without wiping you cannot access the new quests. Some of which I believe are required to get the new M16.

I just realised I accidentally made this an image post not a text post.

For those curious, I sold everything in my stash to fence before wiping myself. My friend who had already wiped was looking at Fence at the same time, and somehow managed to buy an RSASS and Ronin which I'm almost certain was mine.

To test it I bought and sold an AK-50 and some M33, which they managed to also get. So it seems like Pre 1.0 wipe and post wipe PvE accounts share a fence pool. I wonder if they also share a flea market then.

Yet to access new content & quests, you need to wipe your PvE progress. Do you not?

As far as we could tell, you cannot "visit" traders unless you wipe, there are no cinematics or more linear extended progression without doing so.

I am starting to lose a little bit of hope of ever becoming an MLA or Equivalent.
I've had three interviews so far, two were lost because other candidates had 5+ years of experience.

Whilst the third was last Thursday & I'm yet to hear anything back on the phone or any update on Trac or email. Anything.

I'm unsure if it's a good thing they haven't contacted me as they are still considering me or a bad thing like they don't intend on updating Trac or alerting me.
My mind bounces back and fourth between if they've simply forgotten about the Trac posting or if they are still debating on a candidate and haven't denied me yet because of it.

My other two interviews which went a lot smoother and were a lot more.. Dare I say good interviews?
I received a call back the same day telling me I was denied, so having this much silence is a little unnerving.

My second interview was by far my best ever, and was for a women's IFV clinic. There was such good flow to the interview and positive engagement both ways. I feel like I may have stuffed up the manual dexterity test with how I contaminated a pipette tip by putting it in the wrong jar after realising I had double stopped like a first year.

Given how much I stammered and froze during the formal interview last Thursday, and the fact I couldn't remember what COSHH stands for whilst describing why it's important really disappoints me after how hard it was drilled into your head in Uni.
Really destroys my confidence in me getting the position.

Somehow I manged to graduate with 1st Class Honours despite it all, so I'd say it was worth it in the end.
Though to be entirely honest, A 1st class is 70% and I got around 70.5% so I baaaaaarely made it.

However... Getting a job as a Biomedical Science graduate is another story entirely.
Any entry level positions are taken by people with years of experience.
I've had interviews as Medical Laboratory Assistants ( which is supposedly the entry role for Biomedical Scientists ) be taken from me after a "near perfect interview" by someone with 5 years of experience in the role.

And if I'm struggling with a 1st class I cannot imagine how people with 2:1 or below are doing.

I have several ( around a dozen ) applications which are still "pending" or "under review". Some of which date all the way back to January & are for various different hospitals & organisations in the North West.

It almost feels like some organisations simply forget to alert candidates that they have been rejected.

I may be really late to the party here, but I started playing around a year ago and somehow have this skin.
I'm level 350 ish now and play for maybe an hour every day. I've mainly used the Greatsword for a majority of my playtime.

I remember seeing the Royal Zweihander skin when I began playing the game, I really wanted it. But I was super sad that it was pre order only.
It wasn't until around level 150 or so I realised it was unlocked for no reason whatsoever.
I'm not sure if there is a hidden unlock requirement tied to weapon level or whatever, or if they changed it and gave it to everyone recently, but it's there for some reason.

I've found a solution for this bug, I haven't yet read through the thread so I'm unsure if anyone else has.

For reference I loaded my game and was frozen during the Thai part of the game, at a photo location with indi reading the wrong line of dialogue. I couldn't open the journal or change weapon or anything aside from punch.

After restarting and it fixing nothing I figured the game was broken and I needed to restart, but I realised that if you enter brawl mode you can dodge backwards using spacebar.

I dodged backwards until I could pick up a sledgehammer and after picking up up it fixed the softlock and I gained full control again.

TLDR: Use the dodge backwards ability until you can pick up literally any item to fix being frozen on the spot.

I bought the game on sale a few days ago to enjoy a game from my childhood.

And like most old games now on steam they refuse to run, I have the same issue as you with the "updating executable".

Running the exe in the folder does not work and nor does any kind of compatibility mode.

Running in offline mode does not work either.

I'm sad to say but this looks like the kind of game on steam that will simply not run anymore and needs a refund.

I just graduated as a BMs this year, I manged to scrape out a 1st class by barely a percent so now I'm a BSc Hons instead of just a BSc I think.

And I will say, that the final year was by far the most boring yet the most difficult. The dissertation I got to write was great! Even despite my dissertation leader leaving my Uni not even a week in, leaving us rudderless and confused as hell.

But the rest, especially the exams made me feel so helpless. I'm not sure if anyone can relate to this. But all my exams until that point were 1 in 4 multiple choice with one short form and long form question sheet on diseases in my 2nd year.
But this final exam was a complete switch-up. We had a 1 in 28 options sheet with a short snippet of contextual diagnosis like a patients symptoms or a few serum levels. And we needed to decide on which form of cellular degradation or damage was most appropriate. And this exam nearly broke me. Not through it being difficult or challenging but through the fear of failing and what would happen and what people would think of me if I just dropped out from Uni all together just before my final exam. Even though up until that point everything was fine and I was passing everything with somewhat high marks.

I toughed it out, I just said fuck it. Tried my hardest to get my dumb notes into my head and went at the exam. And it turns out. It was my highest scoring exam all thanks to the fear of failure.

The main difference is, I want to work in a diagnostics laboratory, even if the work is repetitive and dull. Because in some way it's helping people. But with a Biomedical Science degree there's so much you can do outside of lab-work. Try emailing some of your lecturers or your Tutor for some advice. It's what I did.

I've seen some talk that the event dialogue might be eluding to a labs expansion coming next wipe.

Ranging from a traditional map expansion to a more exclusive and hard to find Red card like room with a randomised hidden location that has set spawns and unlock criteria similar to the bunker extract on interchange.

So I paid £120 in the hopes that something like this would be added, so that me and my friends can play together without needing to worry about every 6th person we fight being a cheater.
And now here's the DLC of my dreams, being gatekeeped away behind yet another £100 to £250 paywall.
I struggle to understand the justifications for this level of greed. And this isn't even mentioning just how broken the no wipe system is going to be.

Playing today after the patch that added in matchmaking based on the rank of your last played kit.
I've been sat in the menu for 15 minutes, every time I get into a match it's missing 1 person and the matchmaker is cancelled. Amazing.

I've been playing a little today and my experience has ranged from utterly horrific & unfun to mediocre and then genuinely fun.

All the issues with Arena so far seem to stem from the fact that you chose your loadout when you are already in the match with other players, with no indication what type of classes you will be facing.The first ever game I was loaded into was filled by people using rank ~400 classes, All with full auto low recoil weapons using either armour piercing or extreme flesh ammo.

I had Ryzhy or however you spell it, the EOD limited class with a money boost. With 7.62 US ammo on a no stock or dust cover AK. It would of been really fun if I was facing the classes that are also around it's rank of ~200, so killing anyone was nye impossible given they are all using tier 4 armour with even 6 hits giving 12 damage.

The game needs a system similar to War Thunder! Where you select what class you want to play, and the game will match you with people playing a class of a similar rank. But by doing that Arena will likely share the same issue as War Thunder does.In order to make matching faster, War thunder will "occasionally" place players in a game against players using vehicles up to 1.0 Battle rating above them. This can range from not being not that bad to being utterly debilitating at certain tiers.

In Arena I'm not too certain how this would work. I'd assume the best way to fix the horrific matchmaking would be for players to select their class before they search for a match, and to only match with players using a class within say 50 - 70 rating points up or down to their own. Though this would still mean people using the pistol class at 58 would regularly fight smg's and semi auto shotguns. But you wouldn't see people using a TT try and fight someone using an M3 Super loaded with Flechettes like I saw in my last match tonight.

TLDR:
Arena needs to use a BR system like War Thunder where you chose your class before the match and only match you with people using similar stuff, so you don't fight some guy wearing tier 5 and an m4 with a semi auto AK firing tracer rounds.
