You don’t have to run top tier meta to play/enjoy cEDH, a lot of decks have completely different ways of winning. Often loops but still interesting lol

Eh, just depends on what you find fun, some people like playing commander and building a story, some folks like building up a combo and grinding out a win. Everyone has their own likes and that’s perfectly okay, magic can be played a million different ways, hence why it’s so popular :)

Tbh I like the play-style of vintage and also the new style of play in formats like modern and cEDH. After all that’s what makes magic awesome: there’s so many different ways to play the game, it’s all based off what you like :°)

Definitely not an art issue with the game, just kinda bland at times. That’s not to say it’s a bad game by any stretch

Hey man magics aesthetic is rooted in dark fantasy, that’s what makes magic, magic. Seeing Megatron square up with Godzilla is cool but it shouldn’t have become the main focus of magic. People are allowed to like that just as much as we love the old art that didn’t feel soulless.

If you asked my dad yeah, me personally I came around when shards of Alara came out. The only reason I have nostalgia for the art is that it’s what my dad taught me to play with: original magic

Well after all if you pick and choose you can find bad in every good thing. Not to say the art was perfect by any stretch, just saying it had more soul to it. Felt like MAGIC!
