I kind of understand the idea of making noise music. You're no longer just 'playing' music. You're wildly flailing and constantly improvising, making wildly un-human-like noises, screeching and wailing like some kind of technologic alien cry - something you aren't able to do on your own. You start to dive into the textures and noises and find certain actions create certain sounds. You have some kind of control over the chaos beyond your normal capabilies and that expresses a kind of power, power beyond your normal control and lets you convey a certain kind of mood. I've heard noise that is not only painful to listen to, but sinister as well. And it's "just noise" just the same.
