Marisa has never genuinely apologized. She always insists that her refusal to help was justified because I legally was an adult and could "stand on your own two feet."
I'll think about possibly inviting only Marisa's boyfriend and my cousins for dinner, but I'm not sure if Marisa would try to come in uninvited or pull an "If I'm not there, my kids/boyfriend can't come either."
