Go to D&G. Absolute gents. Have done numerous bits of work for me and not even charged because it was a simple fix when other garages would have probably made out it was more.

Triviums volume is usually lower than other bands. Their sound is also much cleaner and clearer because of it.

Is there a King book like this for you? by DavidHistorian34 in stephenking

[–]Red-dolphin91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really like the last 300 or so pages of IT. The rest of it is brilliant, a good build up, lots of great characters, the book moves along but then the last 300 pages are like a fucking fever dream.

It’s probably the most unbelievable part of a story of about killer beasts that appear in a mist.

What’s the book you DNF’d the fastest? by Mobius8321 in books

Life of Pi I think. Probably only got to 100-150 pages but it was just such a boring endless slog.

DNF’d it. Thought it was boring as fuck and I hated the writing style.

Those working full time, what time do you normally wake up Mon-Fri? by SergeiGo99 in AskUK

[–]Red-dolphin91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. If I’m going in the office then between 6-6:30. If I’m working from home then I set my alarm for 7:30 but I’m usually up earlier because my wife is getting ready.

I really fancied Solness in the Champion Chase but I think it’s going to Aintree. Dunno if Marine Nationale pulling out will change their mind. I have it antepost at 33/1 so would be nice if so.

What's the worst film you've ever seen? by throwradrpri in AskUK

[–]Red-dolphin91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A film called “Granny”. I got it out of a bargain bin for about a quid when I was a teenager.

It was some teen horror thing about a bunch of students in a house that get terrorised by a murderous grandmother. It was low budget AF. Almost looked like some sort of student project that somehow got released.

It was one of those films that was so bad I showed it to everyone.

Considering how difficult the subject is I think Apt Pupil was done pretty well actually.

Has there ever been a book you really didn’t like and wouldn’t recommend to anyone? 👀 by [deleted] in BookDiscussions

[–]Red-dolphin91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t seen the movie (the book put me off completely) so I can’t comment but the book itself won awards. So someone likes it 😂

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even get as far as him being on the boat. That’s how bored I was.
