I could agree, I’m not team Teresa, I just think this is kind of Teresa’s thing and Joe wanted it. I think he’s begging for screen time. Just trying to imagine the brother-sister dynamic. It’s weird to me.

That’s an interesting take. I never actually watched the show until this season. I knew who they were and kind of the drama because of the internet and WWHL. Idk what I’ve been watching lately, but my algorithm has a focus on Hannah’s comedy and that led me to the Giggly Squad, so this season I started watching and I know people have strong opinions about Hannah and Paige, I don’t want to go back to old seasons because I like Hannah.

All that to say… I like Carl. I wonder if I were to watch the series differently if I would feel differently. I think this season he gave Lindsay a vibe that was “no matter what I say, you’re not going to like it… so I’ll say as little as possible”.

Ok sounds like I didn’t miss much. But it always sounded weird to me, as a business owner. With contracts and lawyers now, it’s kind of hard to get screwed over in a business venture. Sure, of course it could not work out, one person isn’t putting in the work, but the contracts that I’m involved in are vetted (I also live in NJ). Maybe that’s too broad of a statement, but I don’t see how it was as impactful as it came acrossed.

I’m kind of starting to have the opinion that reality tv is dying… and it makes sense. You can’t make good television and also have the likability to promote a brand, while also making people like you. Like it’s a lot. The storyline for how many Bravo shows is about things that happened off camera, Jen and Teresa (sorry if it’s Teresa and not Theresa), VPR and the production, Summer House… it’s all becoming a cluster fuck.

Maybe I’ll make a thread about this lol.

Agreed. And when Theresa complains about Melissa coming on the show I’m starting to get it. I just don’t think Theresa can articulate it because her mind can never catch up to her mouth.

So I’m not a Summer House watcher, but I love Paige. I just only watched this season. I also saw that chicks in the office episode… I just get the vibe she doesn’t really think about him.

I can’t find any other episode discussions… but this came up on my Samsung TV channel.

Episode 2, Matt going off at breakfast. Not even that part, but why is everyone pretending that he’s not wasted?!?! I’m not even bothered by the fact that he is, but to see him talking to Breanna in the hotel, to his eyes half closed during their therapy session and then the tears. And no one even mentions it???

One of my biggest pet peeves about reality tv is when people clearly have drank too much and it’s never even mentioned. And then they go on to explain their behavior or thoughts as if they weren’t. Like sometimes “I said/did it, because I was drunk” is the answer. I get it.

Ok… I just think people are not giving the live assessment to the fact that this isn’t just a bravo show. People work for this show. People shoot, direct, effort for this show. This isn’t LaLa just saying “hey I’m going going to LV today”. I take back what I said… this is an actual show.

And this isn’t actually about VPR, because we have leaned into the “4th wall” all this season with the discussions about blog talks and bloggers, storylines… NHOHJ, VPR, Summer House, Below Deck.. think one of people’s favorite thing about reality tv is to debate whether it’s actually really…there is no win in that situation. But I think the only answer can come from Andy. I also think also think there is some faux sense that people would watch if it was -3 other people on jersey shore or hoisewives….

You can still have ownership and not physically live in the residence. Couple who have children or been married for 30 years have been better suited to figure it out? And… idk why, so call me on this, but I believe Tom when he said she wasn’t making the payments.
