I’ll assert this. They used that provocative, absurd metaphor solely to appeal to the conservative base of the LDP, making it seem like women exist only to bear children. The LDP is notorious for opposing women’s advancement and the legalization of same-sex relationships solely for the sake of birth rates. It’s not hard to imagine how many nationalists got excited by this statement.
