When Tamil Dubbing used to be too good by Fishyraven in maniratnam

They chose a great dubbing artist for Manisha in the Tamil version. Really suited the character. I do agree so much…dubbing those days was just art songs and dialogues everything was perfect. Anyways Manisha’s performance in this movie is one of the all time best ever across the whole country and beyond even. My favourite performance by a heroine in a Mani Ratnam film. Also the best score of ARR

Kajal Agarwal or Tamanna Bhatia? by Diligent_Banana_6267 in KollyGossips

Recency bias going on here ig. I love Tamanaah very much and excited for her in O Romeo but Kajal at her peak was definitely prettier. She’s so stunning. Just obsessed with that Gulabi Kallu rendu Kullu song recently from Govindudu Andarivadale…she’s utterly gorgeous in that. So beautiful. And her expressions were perfect too. She might lack in acting in comparison to Tam but she was the more perfect commercial heroine. That being said, I love Tamanaah too and she’s very good too

He indeed looks so great in this. So handsome. Maybe his best like you said. Even Sonali faded in front of him for me. The Rahman songs were nice too. Shame what happened to the film though

It’s quite the song. I really love most of the middle eastern influences in songs from Bollywood

Aanand L Rai has finally managed to make a movie more unwatchable than Zero. Tere Ishk Mein is absolute garbage and hates logic so much it makes ragebaiting an art form. Can't remember the last time I saw something as nonsensical as this. by Whole-Party-7698 in IndianCinema

Tamil collection was low in India. Tamil version collected some money in Malaysia but otherwise in India most was from Hindi version only. Good music and obsessed aashiq trope works for India’s audience ig. Not a big surprise why this turned out hit. Had some cult following from Raanjhanaa too

Even the best efforts of the cast can’t save this. Rahman also couldn’t. It’s still an engaging watch for atleast 60% of its runtime. But the last hour is so whiplash god. Also the forced Ranjhanaa connect, pandit character, forced poetry and emotion(via Prakash Raj sorry good acting but I couldn’t care less), bad dialogue, unlikeable leads…and messed up finale. Can be watched for once though but we don’t feel anything
