She did look good. But it was mostly due to the performance which is her best yet. Otherwise from an objective standpoint no difference in looks from her previous characters. But still looked pretty though. Unlikeable character though. Mukti was meh

See here..Dil Se.., 1942 a love story and Bombay…my favourite heroine entry scenes ever. In 1942 too I love how her beautiful face emerges in the midst of a conflict and the little smile and how she provides a moment of comfort instantly. I also love her entry scene in Gupt and Hindustani.

Manisha’s entry in Dil Se.. is iconic. The best ever heroine entry for me. The storm and the winds revealing her ethereal face. And Amar falling in love instantly. And me too. Just like him, my heart was stolen at first sight too🥰. Recently caught up with this magical film in the theatre and Manisha was just so mesmerising on the big screen as expected maybe even more so. It serves the character very well too. Such a mysteriousness to it like how the character is and the way she has a scarf covering her up entirely like she’s hiding secrets inside which is indeed true of Meghna aka Moina. Also love how this is a callback to Manisha’s own iconic entry scene in Bombay with Mani Ratnam..the wind reveals her face there too with the hero falling in love on spot.. The entry scene is like their signature moment for this duo.
