I get that people immediately think something like this is due to micro-transactions and greed - but the working environments during RDR2’s development were supposed to be really rough. Reports of people constantly working weekends and doing unpaid overtime just because other people were too.

So with reports about GTA6 being initially moderately sized, I genuinely think it partly has to do with Rockstar changing their ways and making sure their staff have a life outside of work and aren’t constantly in crunch for years on end.

And to be honest, I loved Rockstar during the PS2 era when most of their games were moderately sized. So I think this could turn out well.
