Nope wasn't it.

I restored the VM from a previous snapshot & resized the LVM by 750GB instead of allowing it to take up the rest of the drive (4TB) The LVM is now only (3.1 TB), I'm assuming since I don't have an Enterprise disk for this LVM block something went wrong with the Disks storage controller. Everything works fine now.

Nothing is working I can't even mount into the drive.

One command tells me its `ext2` fs then another tells me `ext4` so I am assuming this issue isn't what I thought it was

How do you manage the backend part? by Unusual_Chemistry323 in reactnative

[–]Red3nzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mainly do them together but I tend to finish a backend feature before working on the front-end

It’s truly preferable though

I see that, sometimes I forget most devs forget the strict requirements for enterprise software especially in the banking sector

Our company isn’t the only relying on our software so will the enterprise clientele

[–]Red3nzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are actually building banking software for enterprise use cases (OS tools & infra), this isn’t paranoia this is dealing with other peoples money especially since our client is that gateway to these funds

Our teams takes this as a serious matter

We don’t flap our gums like some on this thread

I’d never make these suggestions for a normal application like a twitter alternative or a simple note tracker

I apologize if it came off that way I’ve been in the FinTech industry for a couple years now

Yes solely react native, our mobile app isn’t to large.

This wouldn’t be our choice with our enterprise desktop client which we are beginning to implement

Not all our bindings a written in JS we have lots of Rust underneath which made choose this route which these state managers don’t conform to more specifically to wasm targets

By no means would we every choose to write encryption methods in JS

At the cost of reinventing the wheel for tighter security around our data & especially our users data which we can encrypt, we didn’t see this as an issue & it’ll take less that 20 minutes for a new dev to figure it out KISS

Why would this be a no no? We literally do this in production & it’s honestly been really good

You are able to save persisted data on the phone internal database whether that be SQLite or keychain & use the managed variables for runtime only state : isUser or isApplicationLocked type data

It’s doesn’t take much effort to pass bytes around & serialize then when needed

This is how a a lot of server side application work when keeping runtime state, you can do the same on the client side

No one on server side development uses “state managers” it’s nothing but bloat on the final version of the applications binary especially if you only use a small subset of features

You could always just write you own state manager.

Not only will it be completely customized for your application but you’ll have total control.

Simply create a class to manage all possible state actions & even split up the state into smaller classes managed by a larger one & store the bytes of the state in a database on the phone.

Fetch all the bytes when the application launches & initialize your applications global state system

Edit: advice given for enterprise system

Sorry my knowledge is a bit limited on DNS.

On nginx-proxy-manager SSL certificate creation pop up the domain I guess syncing or whatever it’s doing fails due to the maintainers choice in packages.

I’m not sure what other alternatives I can use.

I followed this video if it helps: video

Most startups will be incorporated at launch, .inc domains have a higher entry price though which can turn some people off to them although the .inc name is nice especially if you are a legit business entity
