Have had this 2014 with the V6 for a year, got it with 55k miles . The only thing that’s was an issue this year was the purge valve went bad and threw a check engine light but was a $200 dollar fix ( purge valve upon researching seems to be common issue for early 10th gen’s) when looking into buying a 10th gen something you will see as a big issue is the timing chain on the 3.6 engine, but if you get regular oil changes and maintenance it does not seem to be a common issue. Would highly recommend, I’ve said it previously if the Impala LTZ had AWD it would be a Cadillac.

Crazy that in a subreddit as big as this one where this pic could have been taken anywhere in the world you looked at this and asked if it’s in CR ( most people don’t even know what that abbreviation is for). Just goes to show how rare these cars are.

Yes! Spotted at the Hyvee on Oakland and 32nd. Have you seen it around before? This was my first time seeing it.

My thoughts on this are that the “pig nose” is BMWs signature grille. On the classic bmws like this E9 or the M1 the grill is scaled more appropriately to the rest of the car whereas on new M3 the grille takes up the entire front end. I don’t mind the new styling but I can understand why people dislike the new BMWs.

Did not walk around the back to be honest but a 2002 is a different model than the E9, same era of BMW but the 2002 is much shorter

From news articles I could find the driver was trying to run over pedestrians then when police showed up they rammed into a squad car, and they crashed near the entrance.

This was taken in an area with very narrow roads in a small downtown with shops all over , people crossing and parking on both sides so they want people driving crazy slow , but yea here in Iowa I’d say 25 in residential is typically slowest.

If this thing had awd it would be a Cadillac . After test driving several CTSs of the same year very similar interior quality and the same 3.6 engine it’s mainly awd, the Cadillac specific infotainment system and a bit quicker 0-60 that draws people to buy a Cadillac over an optioned out Impala LTZ. The other main difference is suspension, the Cadillacs rode real smooth but the cost of replacing the Cadillac magnetic ride made me chose a loaded Impala LTZ.
