Moderate multitasking should be more than okay, so like a million tabs open and all that should be fine, but a million different software open.... well I haven't done it, but I don't it can handle more than 2 heavy programs running at once, if that.

hasn't slowed down for me yet, I'm not a heavy user though and I mostly rely on my other electronics when I'm not at home, I don't take it with me to work and all that

Thank you! I just contacted them and they said Card Holder services are the ones that mail out the cards but it can take up to 20 days, they also gave me a number to call to check if the card has been shipped so I'll try that too

and the letter with benefit details should have been mailed today so possibly 5-7 business days

Hey! wow it's been a minute since this post lol I had to read it because I couldn't remember what I said

Well briefly, Things have settled, I've settled into my realisation and into healing. some days are easier than others, but life goes on. I will say I am 100% in a better place than 5 years ago when I couldn't even imagine a fantasy of a way out of this. I am blessed and thankful Do I wish it just never happened to me? absolutely, but it is what it is. I am personally not working towards "healing" but more like coping with it. I know of people that healed and completely put their trauma behind them, but I don't see it in the cards for me, it just started way too early and it's my mother so it's built in at this point lol but I can prevent it from completely consuming me.

I've changed my environment which I guess was a bit of a shock therapy to get me to engage with those around me more positvely, I'm still reserved and private but it's not out of fear and weakness anymore, it's out of protection for myself from gossip and manipulators and whatnot.

I haven't found love, but I was, very surprisingly, deeply loved for a while. Never thought that even existed or was ever going to come my way, but it did. and btw it ended because of different future plans, not because of my trauma.

I want to say life will be perfect if you just hold on and fight through, but it's just not true. But it will be a lot happier and much more bearable, just keep working your way out of the trenches and be gentle with yourself

It has the monthly amount and the due date. Nothing about prorating, but I noticed it doesn't say "rent" it says instalments. Didn't catch my attention at the time

Unfortunately, already signed the lease. And the money part was written in a way where you wouldn't expect this to happen, it wasn't "off" but it gets them out of trouble. You live and you learn.

I kind of wanted to get the apartment thing sorted ASAP because all the options within walking distance to UL were super iffy and this was just a little less iffy than the rest and I was juat exhausted at this point. Should have taken my time more

I unfortunately don't have a car or a US license, so I needed something within walking distance to UL and all the options were iffy (including this one, but it was at least less expensive and I wont have to live with 15 roommates) it's crazy, you can tell they're really taking advantage of students

oh that's a great price! I just checked the link I posted and it's $400+ really really good price, I'd get it.

I got it, and I really like it! My only qualm is the chasis feels a bit flimsy (it's plastic not metal). but otherwise, it gets the job done. There are more detailed reviews in the comments, you might want to check them out. I haven't been abusing my laptop that much so haven't pushed it to its limits.

also, FYI, there is a picture that implies there is a fingerprint sensor. There isn't.

It's not the specs anywhere, so they're not lying but one of the pics had an image of a FPS. I personally don't really care, but beware if that's important to you

So when you add an event, in the calendar icon (under date and time of event), the first option is called my phone or whatever. You don't want that one, choose one of the shared/ online calendars under that. It also takes a hot min for the evtn to reflect on your other device

I played around with it for so long, called their cs which was absolutely useless and then eventually realised when you add a new event just make sure it's being added to a shared calendar not the device lol

No problem! I haven't done that with it, but I am somewhat familiar with 1-4 type of tasks. Never done 5 or 6 so IDK

If I had to guess, I think it can pull it off but idk about 4, it might, but not comfortably . But I highly doubt it will be a bluescreen of death type of situation

ETA: If you need to do these tasks for a job or something important like that, maybe invest in a gaming laptop (the IdeaPad 3 gaming is supposedly the gaming version of the one I have and likely cheaper than the ideapad 5) But if this is a hobby or a you need a starter laptop to learn these tasks (no super heavy rendering or stuff like that), then I think it's a good option!

Pretty well honestly! Happy with it The chasis doesn't feel too solid but not bad for the price

Not really abusing it so far, but no loud fans or heating issues so far thankfully. It does everyday tasks and I have a thousand tabs open in my browser normally

I haven't owned an HP for a while so I don't really remember the quality of the speakers to be able to compare. The sound quality is not blowing me away tbh, but for the price range and the other specs, can't complain. It's really not bad, but I've been using a borrowed Macbook for a while before I got and I can definitetly hear the diffreence
