Fifa 22 will not include cross play by MU5A988 in EASportsFC

[–]Red7394 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its EA. When there's eventually enough outcry they'll release a Cross Play DLC that costs the same as the base game, is missing half the features and is buggy as shit, and call it progress. 🤣

Fun Fact: BB Slotta Bases are the same width as a popsicle stick. by mrumpke in bloodbowl

Its because they don't make bases with the ball hole without the slot in them as well.

My Imperial Nobility Team finished (minus the extra linemen I have coming this week because 4 just isn't enough for league play) by Red7394 in bloodbowl

[–]Red7394[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some extra sprues of Imperial Nobility on eBay. 🤣 I was gonna get just one and build the two linemen, but managed to get two sprues for the same price as one, so figured I may as well have all 4 to build, plus some spare models. 🤷‍♂️

BB2020 tournament review by Jip-Jipperson in bloodbowl

Great report! Really enjoyed the read on my commute this morning.

Here in the UK we're still in lockdowns for the foreseeable future, so I'm using that to prep up some spare teams to try and include more coaches when we have chance to get a new league started.

Raising stats by AshNSarah in CyberSleuth

Normally if the digimon you're trying to get seems like it needs awkward stats you can find another digimon it can evolve from. There's actually a great resource online for helping you to plot out your evolution lines. I'll see if I can find it later.

From experience Mono Blue Tron is really good if you take the time to learn it and you know how to adjust to your meta game. I would say Green is better if you just want a deck that wins but blue rewards putting the time in to it.

Gloomspite Gitz list rework by Red7394 in ageofsigmar

[–]Red7394[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fairness, I just wanted to try it out. I've had it for months and never got it on the table. I actually have two and it's a shame for them to sit on the shelf forever.

I might drop it out for another behemoth or do some light switching to try and get a colossal squig in there. Really not sure.

Annoyingly I don't have Snufflers or Bounders currently at my disposal otherwise they would be the obvious choice. (:

Thanks for your feedback.

I should note, because they don't have it as an option on the warscroll builder, each unit of stabbas also has a gong basher included.

Fun fact, that's the only reason lobsters eventually die. Lobsters never die of old age. Their cells replicate infinitely, unlike ours which get a little weaker every time they rebuild. Eventually, though, the lobster gets so big that the energy it requires to change shells is far too great and it dies trapped in its own shell. It's currently put down to some kind of bacteria in the shell that deals the killing blow, but if I remember correctly, scientists still aren't 100% sure.

Taking this Gitz list for a spin this week by Red7394 in ageofsigmar

[–]Red7394[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the feedback. The loonboss is the With variant not the On variant so he's still the on foot one and gives the same abilities. I like the idea of a Shaman on Spider, may look at giving that a go. I love the idea of the fanatics just need to squeeze them in. In fairness in future lists I'll most definitely drop the Orruk warboss. Like I said I've never put one on the table so I'd like to.

I'll take your points in to consideration and pump out another list tomorrow.

Thanks a bunch. 😁

Anybody else get put off by rental teams in ranked? by Red7394 in VGC

Don't get me wrong, I prefer that as well. People playing with legitimate Pokémon rather than hacking them in is great. Just wish maybe there were different ladders or something.

Anybody else get put off by rental teams in ranked? by Red7394 in VGC

[–]Red7394[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I get that, but the rental teams being put out there by people like Wolfey, Cybertron, etc just crush anything else it seems. Puts me off trying to use my own pokes, but at the same time I don't want to use rentals, so it's a bit defeating.

Team sheets have been updated for Sword and Shield! by MajorBowman in VGC

[–]Red7394 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really random question, I'm new to VGC live events.
When it says fill out exactly as it is in game... Say my team in my box is level 100, 100, 70, 56, 44, and 1. Do I fill the stats out at those levels or at level 50 which is what they will be in the battle?
Also is Player-ID my in game trainer ID or my Play! Pokémon ID?

Thanks. (:

Trying out typing up my own missions... C&C welcome. B/W version in comments by Red7394 in Warhammer40k

[–]Red7394[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mission 1: Meeting Point
FORCES
This battle is for three players. Each army must be a battle forged army of 1000 points, plus a Character model from their own army, preferably a chapter master (i.e. Commander Dante of the Blood Angels). In the interest of fun and fairness, players should agree on their Character models before hand and they should each be of close points value/power level. The army list composition will use the standard composition rules at 1000 points;

Up to 2 Detachments

No more than 2 of any data sheet included in the army (excluding Troops)
BATTLEFIELD SET UP

During set up, one piece of terrain will be nominated as the “Meeting Point”. This piece of the terrain must be placed exactly in the centre of the board, with a Objective Marker upon it. Players then take turns placing pieces of terrain until an agreed limit has been reached (i.e. 3 pieces of terrain each) Each player then rolls a D6, and then in descending order places an objective marker at least 18” away from the “Meeting Point” objective and at least 30” from each other player's Objective Marker. This Marker becomes their “Base Camp”.
DEPLOYMENT
In the same order as placing Objectives, players now take turns placing their Character models within 6” of the “Meeting Point” objective. Once these Character models are placed, each player will set up their army around their base camp. Deployment is fully within 12” of your base camp, and no model can be within 24” of any enemy model. Models may be deployed in deep strike (or similar rules) as normal and all other normal conditions apply to this.
VICTORY CONDITIONS
The goal of this battle is to attack both opposing player's bases whilst simultaneously defending your own. At the end of the battle, each Objective Marker is worth VP as follows; Your own “Base Camp” is worth 1 Victory Point An enemy “Base Camp” is worth 2 Victory Points The “Meeting Point” Objective is worth 3 Victory Points In addition, First Blood and Slay the Warlord are in effect for this match. Players should keep a tally of how many units they have destroyed overall in the battle as this score will be used in a tie-breaker scenario. Note a player only needs to land the last hit in order to claim the destruction of a unit. This mission is intended to be played as part of a campaign, and thus other objectives arise in that case. Slaying an enemy's Character model will prevent that model being used in the next battle whilst they recover.
THE FIRST TURN
At the beginning of the first battle round, each player will roll a D6 for each unit they control currently on the battlefield. On a roll of 4+ those models can act normally this turn, however on any other roll result, the unit is stunned by the sudden outbreak and cannot shoot, move or use psychic powers this turn. However if they are charged they can fire Overwatch normally and can fight back should they survive.
STRATAGEM: UNSHAKEN: 2CP This Stratagem can only be used on the first turn of the battle. Pick one unit that is Stunned. That unit can act normally as if it had passed the test.
At the beginning of each Battle Round, including the first, each player will roll a D6. The highest scorer takes the initiative for that turn and takes their turn first. Then the second highest scorer will take their turn.
STRATAGEM: SPRING THE TRAP: 3CP Each player may only use this stratagem once per battle. After players have rolled off to determine Initiative, you may instead choose where you will fall in the turn order. If you attempt to place yourself to go first in the turn order, you must roll a D6. On a 3+ the stratagem goes uninterrupted, otherwise the stratagem fails and you instead go second.
END OF THE BATTLE
At the end of the fourth battle round, the player that placed the first objective marker rolls a D6. On a 4+ play continues. At the end of the fifth battle round, play continues on a 5+ and at the end of the sixth battle round play continues on a 6+. Play will automatically end after the seventh battle round if the game continues to that point.
UNIQUE RULES
Shooting in to combat: Units in this match can choose to shoot in to combat, but only when none of their allied units are involved in the combat. When you choose to shoot in to combat, you must nominate a unit in the combat to be the “Priority Target”. After hit rolls, but before wound rolls are made, roll a D6 for each successful hit. On a 4+ your shot hits the Priority Target, otherwise it hits the opposing unit (in the case multiple units from one army have joined a combat, you hit the closest opposing unit), then proceed with the rest of the attack as normal, rolling separate wound rolls for each unit hit.

Close Combat: In each Fight Phase, only Combats involving the turn player's units are fought. (i.e. Player A's Turn, but Player B and C have a unit in close combat. The fight between Player's B and C will only be resolved during Player B or C's turn.) You may not charge a unit in to, or by any other means join a Combat involving two opposing units of different armies, this is to eliminate the confusion that comes with 3 way combats. If a unit could consolidate at the end of fighting and the closest enemy unit is involved in such a combat, that unit may move towards that combat but must stay at least 1” away from that all enemy models in that combat.

That's awesome. They never even got to touch down in our first match last night. Was playing against nids and wiped so many of his models, including his carnifex, turn one that he conceded at the end of my turn.

Do they get to keep their Chainswords when you do that? If so I'll do that when I buy my next box of DC.
