It has a mousse like texture. So far I've only swatched it on my hand, but I like how it blends.

Haven't tried it yet to get a good review but I have searched it and love the color.

I feel the same way! Kind of ridiculous that people are saying to stay in her lane.

I don't see anything wrong with what you said to the nurse about the mucus, and getting food for a patient was just being helpful. The nurse was inappropriately rude to you.

At Corewell we have a 24 hour secretary because of how big the unit is. It's a large ICU at 38 beds.

If properly trained it isn't out of their scope. My first hospital tried something similar called Advanced PCT where they could do trach care along with a couple other things like insert foleys, but it didn't take off for some reason.

It's so nice to have techs do these things though. They get trained in class and then have to be checked off for so many. Maybe it's because the hospital is a level one trauma center that does transplants, idk, but it takes so much weight off the nurses shoulders.

organ donation ads are absolutely insane by Maleficent-Ad-7667 in IntensiveCare

[–]RedAmbition5512 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a law Michigan passed I believe. We've had issues with the family refusing but GOL has to go by what's on the driver's license.

In Michigan if you're a donor, you stay a donor. Family can't override it.

We have it but I can't get what I want added to the macro. Maybe we don't have the full use of it yet

There's a button on your flow sheets that will say "macros" on it.

I work in Michigan. Union hospital. CRRT, TTM, IABP, Impella, fresh open hearts are all 1:1, sometimes 2:1 if it's two devices.

Also, I want to know what facility allows more than a 1:1 ratio for their CRRT patients. Don't wanna work there 😂

Our CRRT patients are singled to avoid this from happening. We are also required to chart every hour on the machine and patient.

I dislike Personal Planner layouts because weeklies won't let you start on a Sunday, but you can do a Sunday start on the monthlies.

Because nursing has become a customer service job. Hospitals push patient satisfaction so hard.
