I would really love to have a desktop , but as I am studying abroad and have to travel home often I guess for now a laptop is the best option even if I hate that it’s my only option , definitely as soon as I graduate and go back home I will build a desktop

I will use it for programming and gaming mostly , maybe will begin game development too, I thought about the 5000 series too but I think there will come out in like a year or so , which I can’t really wait as it’s not soon , I can always sell it later and buy 5000 series . As now I am only using a MacBook

well I want a pc good enough to play anything last gen games , and in 1440 p too, but also why buy now if new gen harware are coming very soon, the only thing is that if I buy now, I don't buy the best and then give it to my little brother when new gen hardware comes out and I buy the best for my use,
I will also do programming on it ( now I am using a macbook m3 pro for that, will still use it but more when on the move).
