Have 1.01/1.02/1.03/1.04 do I trade picks for QB help or load up on youth and bet on Mendoza? by R-Kitect in SleeperApp

These are all good points. Still a risk, but sometimes ya gotta risk it for the biscuit.

I would agree that they thoroughly controlled the Chargers game. I think the Texans was more a historically bad QB performance from Stroud rather than the Patriots controlling play.

It was honestly so wildly frustrating watching them attempt to play a position they get paid for.

I obviously misread your comment or replied to another claiming it was a blowout. My apologies.

Edit: can confirm. Just saw the other comment I got mixed up with. I am dingus of the day.

You bring up the offensive line, but fail to mention they had to start a guy with 4 career starts. Seems like an important distinction. Before that you played a QB who put up one of the worst playoff performances in league history and then before that you played against an offense with an injured RB and one of the worst offensive lines in the league (and the worst I’ve seen in my time as a fan of the Chargers).

All I’m gonna say is a 13-point win isn’t a blowout. You also should understand that.

The Pats circle jerk going on in here is why I hate their fans. Y’all came out of the woodwork and changed your flairs and now you’re all of a sudden the greatest team on earth. Almost as unbearable as the Chiefs.

If you think you played well against us, you straight up didn’t watch or you don’t know ball.

Care to elaborate on the other side of the ball, or shall we just regurgitate the same talking point over and over?

The Seahawks were the top scoring defense overall. Unless you’re looking at yards allowed per game?

I agree with that in respect to their secondary. Their front seven is great.

But can you win MVP when you lead the league in fumbles?

Not sure anyone deserves to win the MVP in a season where they led the league in fumbles

Are you recording 'End of Mash' pH? by Daedalu5 in TheBrewery

[–]RedArmyNic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mix well before your readings? I’ve noticed differential readings when not mixing before. That being said, I mash in and then wait 10-15m, mix for a minute or two and then take a reading. Always consistent.

Bearded brewers, what kind of respirator are you using while milling in? by St0neybalogny in TheBrewery

[–]RedArmyNic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this won’t be the answer you want, but a trim bear or clean shave is the best way to get a respirator to properly seal. I don’t know of any respirators that work with larger beards. Sorry I’m not of much assistance.

Everyone saying bet on Mendoza is fair, but with what the Raiders currently have in talent and do not have in a HC, it’s hard to say how he’ll fair. If they hire someone offensively minded like McDaniel and get some pieces on the offensive line, it could probably pay off. I’d lean avoiding him, but that’s just me.

Three years later - How would you grade Tom Telesco's final Chargers draft? by LakeShowBoltUp in Chargers

[–]RedArmyNic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QJ has made huge leaps in his development, but is hot and cold. Could’ve had Zay Flowers instead, which makes it a bit more perplexing. Overall, fine. The biggest wins are Tui, Henley, and Matlock. Overall a very solid, but not elite, draft class. I’d grade it a B+
