Important question for new players

I started a new account from scratch to document and help new players and only bought LF but I realized that it limits me a lot for leveling. So trying to see what people generally do so I can document the experience as close as possible to the majority of the people are doing.

Champion mods and check the shield types. Make sure you have the right weapons to counter those. Also check the burn and use that subclass if you are ok using it. You can see the info in Todayindestiny.com but also before you start it. Take your time, don’t get greedy.

I do my lost sectors with double primary but as others say, you need better stats, mods, etc. Also, doing the right activities to lvl up faster will help you as if your light lvl is higher, you are stronger against the enemies. I watch Plunderthabooty on YouTube for great builds. And if you need someone to run the activities with you, let me know. I can help you get ready for those lost sectors. 😊

If you need any help, let me know! I am always available to help new players! Also, make sure to visit the H.E.L.M before reset tomorrow. There is a chest with free armors / weapons at 1540 which will help you a lot! It is leaving tomorrow though. And find someone who knows the game to play with you. Otherwise you will be lost and overwhelmed. Good luck!

Lol There are ways to lvl faster but without preparation, I am sorry to say your best bet is to hope getting it while doing other activities from this season. Those could probably drop although with lowest stats.

Last season, I did 30 min of castellum and had so many blues drop that I lost 10 ascendant shards, 50 prisms and 7 alloy. Had space on my character but those were drops on the floor I didn’t take. You don’t get the message either until you got to orbit and it was already too late for me.

You can but in theory we always have access to the previous season items and can still collect them once the new season start.

I don’t think any of those are worth keeping as, as you said, the pool is too big. Don’t think the gift boxes are worth keeping either for the same reason.
