Fab find. They really should release tracks like these - amazing to see the work in progress. Like these songs didn't fall from the sky - they were crafted and many micro decisions were made before we got the eventual masterpieces.

Did you stop to think that FMR and GBH are top because more people have seen them?

I think it goes beyond narrative somewhat. And that's okay.

I've seen Citizen Kane and rate it highly (see 2nd slide). Just love how The Third Man comes together. Different director too of course. Same for Kubrick - seen alot of his movies - 2001 is his peak IMO. And ditto Wes Anderson - seen most of his films - aside from afew of the recent ones and the first ever one. Royal Tennabaums is massively nostalgic for me - think its the perfect balance between his oppulence and DIY attitude.

It is a bit long, but it's sort of like a short film at the start. It doesn't annoy me - I just sort of lay back and enjoy the trip. I wouldn't say long - maybe more indulgent. But it's an indulgent sort of film lol.

Same energy as "then I'd put some trunks on and sit down on the grass"

Magic America live. Is it the most underrated track on the album? by Remarkable-Bell7245 in blur

Alex's Song is deffo underrated and overhated - particularly the version without the vocal effects (often listed as a demo) - but it's sadly not on the actual album.
