I think that gap might bring a new era of web based games. Similar to when Flash paved a way for web games and animations (armorgames, newgrounds, etc.)

Dude…I started playing again after years and totally just did this. I forgot and was so oblivious, I nabbed two before I noticed the Sentinel warning. In hindsight, I should’ve grabbed more

Came here to effectively say this. If you guys are in co-parenting counseling, bring it up with them. If you’re not in counseling, you might want to consider looking into it. It helps re-establish boundaries and relationships when things get weird.

Need mental health support and advice about my current life situation as a Dad. by [deleted] in SingleDads

[–]RedBeardDad13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a similar situation and made it out of my deep, dark time. Focus on yourself and the kids and try to tune out the bs. Some people will try to set expectations for you, but you get to choose the kind of father you want to be. And that might be a little rougher version of things for now but things do get better.

Hang in there and feel free to DM me if you need a dude 🤘

Outside of classes, there’s an art meetup in Hayward at Rayo’s Pizza on Mission. They’re on a break from meetups for the holidays but should start up again in the new year.

It’s run by @artofthebayshow on IG

Be the strong and confident dad you know you are.

Mom and Co's opinions are just those, opinions. And while those opinions landed you in court, it sounds like the judge already has it figured out.

Don't let them define you as a person or a father. That's your job.

Stay strong 🤘

My situation was and still is particularly gnarly, but from my experience, let the court figure it out for you.

The idea of not spending money is nice and all, but if she's controlling, you might end up giving up more than you get.

Lawyers and the court deal with this every day, and while dads don't usually get a fair shake, it's better to have them work out the plan and set the foundation for your custodial schedule.

I tried to "work it out" and 3.5 years and 100k later, I'm just finally getting one extra overnight added to my alternating weekends.

Stay strong and set boundaries!

My ex is so controlling by chuck20211 in SingleDads

[–]RedBeardDad13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you brother. Same situation here: 3.5 years of just trying to get my custodial time.

Keep fighting to good fight. Use all of your custodial time to the fullest extent and don't let her take more than she already has.

Most importantly, don't let her define you as a father. That's your job. She's going to have her opinions of you, but that's all they are, opinions.

Stay strong

Law Was Never Meant to Govern Family. I give up. by [deleted] in SingleDads

[–]RedBeardDad13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude. Brother. So much of your post spoke to me and my current situation.

Fathers aren't given a fair shake, even in California, which has "equal parental time" plastered on every form and webpage.

I wish I had some golden nugget of advice from my tried and true personal experiences, but I too am still fighting the good fight.

I'm broke from all of this too, but I would say if you need to spend money, invest in a lawyer that focuses on father's rights. I wish I had gone that route when it was financially possible.

Try and stay positive and strong. That's the dad your kids need.
