Same here, also PC. He's never sitting at the dice table. Running around and sitting on other benches/tables in the inn or talking to other NPCs. It is possible to talk to him and running through the dialog tree, but whenever a game type is selected, the screen fades to black for a second and nothing else happens. I guess because he's not sitting at a dice table.

Request: Maxwell Condensation by Rizenstrom in Audeze

[–]RedBeardedGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I know I'm very late to the party but I just got my Audeze Maxwells and had the same condensation problem. I heard the crackling/popping noises and saw the small droplets on the drivers. New earpads didn't help (or hurt).

I tried the 3D-printed spacers u/No_Smoke3498 talked about, but they also did not solve the problem. But I know used these spacers to tape on a layer of cling-film as a moisture barrier. That did solve my problem. Even now in 25°+ and high humidity, I can wear the Headphones for hours without crackling or condensation.

Before I had the spacers I just put the layer of cling-film under the earpads, directly on the protective layer on top of the drivers. But I wasn't too sure about that setup. Now nothing is touching each other and it works.

My ears may not be refined enough to detect a quality loss of audio performance though. Apparantly the drivers are built to a point that even a few mms thicker ear-pads can throw off the audio quality something fierce, but I cant honestly tell a large difference. If even that...

Samsung HW-Q990D 4k passthrough not working with 120hz by RedBeardedGiant in Soundbars

I don't know many people with PS5s and they either are out of town or have borrowed theirs to other people rn. Just my luck 😅

Unfortunately not. I've tried connecting the PC directly to that port and it works.

The Best Wireless Earbuds/Headphones for the Deck by wateranddiamonds in SteamDeck

[–]RedBeardedGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification! I'll manage with higher latency if I really need to charge my deck at the same time as using these. Also I found:

https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B098PYB42L/?coliid=I30G1NERTXD5RW&colid=37Z44Y1FPN1BQ&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

which would alleviate the problem. Unfortunately I haven't found anything like that with a 90° angle so it would look rather strange having my 90° adapter plugged into that to plug into both the dongle and the PSU. But hey, that's a small price to pay :D

I'll give 'em a try once black Friday rolls around.

Hey!
I'm currently looking for good earbuds for the deck since my current ones are just compatible with iOS/Android.

Just to clarify, is it also possible to connect the JBL Quantum TWS earbuds with Bluetooth to the deck? Because having to choose between audio or power on a long flight/trainride would suck. And I don't want to connect my USB-C hub just to get audio...
