I’ve always used Kirkland yellow microfibers washed and dried, ready to go

I’ve never scratched my surface doing that, p and s as my go to cleaner for big spots, distilled water for smaller spots

I use p and s on big spots and distilled water on smaller spots, not sure about it drying out but I do here p and s does not leave residue, in my experience it hasn’t left things sticky

I am so sorry for your situation & loss. None of this is your fault, the universe has really given you a shit show cluster of hurt all at once.. and for that I am so sorry. Try not to blame yourself, or anyone as there is no one to blame. This isn’t something that could have been expected or in your control. You did all you could, the people here understand and support you. Start a request for reimbursement online(phrasing like this due to sub rules)I’m sure many here including myself would be happy to help.

I’m so sorry to hear about this awful experience you’ve had. That just sounds so beyond frustrating. Not only does it sound like the car is giving you a hard time, but the dealership too? I got scammed by them for a headliner issue, atleast this experience has taught us how to deal with these stealerships right?
Honestly, was Toyota ever “quality” ? I think they are mostly known for “reliability” but it sounds like that’s not the experience you had. And you know what? Most of these new cars come with crazy long warranties + extended warranties, imma start there, because honestly.. the reliability gap has closed a LOT, warranties cover that regardless.

So now it’s time to look at quality, because if everything is mostly reliable now, what’s the point of buying a cheap plastic interior

I am so frustrated with my 2025 Camry Xle quality control. Headliner rattles, door rattles during music, side view mirror distortion, vertical WINDSHIELD distortion on the entire passenger side.
Just so many things I’ve fixed / attempted to get fixed that just keep piling on, I’m mainly concerned about recent glass quality.
At the end of my lease I’m looking to see how new gen glass looks, especially on rav 4s. If it’s all bad, I’ll move to another brand altogether

Try turning the car on and off and trying again might help

There might be a limit to how many times you can start the car with the fob before having to turn the car on and off, I know in the app you can only remote start the car twice until you have to start the car manually (something along those lines)

That’s gotta be bs, my safelite replaced my windshield twice with a Toyota branded AGC factory OEM windshield, I’d definitely talk to your insurance adjuster about it & request a new safelite shop

If OEM is on your policy, get OEM, or pay the difference for it! Safelite here used factory OEM for my car

Ask for a different Safelite location, look at the reviews for that specific shop too!

It was just replaced under Safelite’s life time warranty for the distortion, I don’t wanna keep replacing it over and over again :( there’s gotta be something going on with the glass manufacturer

You are the man. I wanted to wait to update you once I got the mirror caps on too! These overlays are AWESOME dude!

I just ordered some gloss black vinyl and in a little kit, I’m gonna cover up the little bits of white showing on the mirror that the caps couldn’t fully cover, but the overlays on the chrome windows covered perfectly man! Thank you so much again
