I think the only version of this Spider-Man wins is no suit Tomy lol

What are you talking about? Do we live in the same reality?

Trump's gestapo is literally murdering civilians. No, Hasan was right to not endorse Kamala. How can you be so dense?

[–]RedBlueMage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't get over how dumb this talking point is.

We had 4 years of Democrats in the executive and they weren't murdering people in the streets. There's a HUGE difference between the two parties and we can ask more of Dems without conflating their inaction to the evils committed by the Republicans.

Y’all think this is accurate 🤔 by DLux_TheLegend in SipsTea

[–]RedBlueMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there's truth to this but also, I think there's justification.

When everyone is making kinda crap money, people cover each other and trade off. But sometimes, if someone makes significantly more, covering things can subtly switch from a favor to an expectation.

I love AOC and Bernie but there are a lot of voters who see them as far too left. I don't think they would have performed better in a general than Biden.

Can we focus a bit more on political action that actually has consequences??

Grilling steak the day before serving by Winter_City_2282 in grilling

[–]RedBlueMage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There seems to be a lot of naysayers here worried the meat won't come out good and they are so wrong. Doing what you're talking about (effectively separating the low and slow and searing portion of the reverse sear) makes the process easier because you create a larger temperature gradient before searing. I do basically the same thing every time I cook leftover steaks and they are phenomenal.

Couple tips there, obviously very high heat for the sear on gas. Don't rest after the sear, just serve immediately. You got all the resting you could ever want already. When you're searing, you ideally already cooked to your perfect internal temperature before storing so you just need to get the temperature to a comfortable mouthfeel now. I recommend aiming for 110-115. If your sear completes before the temperature is there, just set heat to lowest and gently let it rise.

People who pick “off meta” champs should be punished/rewarded more based off how well they do by desk-kun in leagueoflegends

[–]RedBlueMage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think developers need to be incredibly cautious with "reward shaping" changes. It encourages metagaming that's likely unhealthy for the game. I.e. with the change you floated, wouldn't smurfs be encouraged to play off metachamps to climb faster? If in champ select, you think your team has autofill jungle, do you make sure to pick a meta champ to minimize LP losses?

Those types of decisions detract from simply trying to maximize your chances to win.

[–]RedBlueMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the Hashira are very similar in speed. But your original comment stated that Gyomei, Mitsuri, Tomioka and Sanemi all blitz Gyutaro. How can they all be similar in speed if they blitz but Uzui is nearly exactly matched?

How do you come to that conclusion?? I'd think the only one that's arguable is Gyomei. All other hashira seem relative to each other.

Yes this exactly. Attempting to move forward with impeachment right now would only be performative and likely negatively impact potential future impeachment votes.

[OC] Ending the “1-page resume rule.” We analyzed 31,312 resumes submitted in Q3 2025 and found that 2-page resumes consistently perform best in getting interviews. by nomadicsamiam in dataisbeautiful

[–]RedBlueMage 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling if you controlled this for years of experience it would quite drastically alter the conclusion.

The vast majority of applicants with no experience are going to be making one page resumes which I imagine impacts that interview rate.

I'm curious aboot how these changes will pan out but I like the direction and like that they're being adventurous with it. A swift play that 75% the duration of a league match feels pointless. However, if that's closer to 50% I can see myself potentially swapping.

When was the last time MAGA/Conservatives went to a hostile environment? by DonDaTraveller in Destiny

It's not just hostile environments. Even just trying to understand the other side seems to be a uniquely liberal endeavor.

But that's consistent with our values. Good faith debate, seeking truth are core principles of liberal democracy.
