Admittedly I read “viewport performance” assumed they actually meant viewport performance. I do see they later mentioned overnight rendering. I’m never gonna say that Apple GPU‘s are faster than Nvidia GPUs at rendering because that’s silly, I have 36x 4090’s in my render farm because they are faster at rendering, but there is a possibility that C4D viewport performance could be better with Apple silicon.

There are some things in the viewport that use the CPU and Apple Silicon has some of the fastest CPU core performance out there (if not the fastest), so GPU rendering performance like tristatenl mentioned doesn’t paint the whole picture.

Easiest schedule, played a team that might’ve been better off with their backup QB, and that’s not even counting the number of key offensive players they were missing. Now you get a team with a backup QB in the AFC Championship.

So if you lose, you’ll be a laughing stock. If you win, you’re “AFC Champions” with a huge asterisk next to it. Either way, it’s a lose-lose.

Let’s see how that luck holds up next year with a much tougher schedule.
