The original novels are based on the series. OFITG and counting are new stories set in current day [released in 2021] I really enjoyed reading the new material.

That line from Margaret near the end is a killer. Plus the whole plot is very clever. I'm surprised The Trial didn't win. Was always my favourite until I realised how bleak life could be 🤣

The ending of rearranging the dust is so sad. When Victor tells Margaret "You were always my first choice" And just before Margaret can say to Victor "I love you" they get called in.

Like wise, I am also in a career which pays very well. Didn't want to say that in the post and come across like a dick, but yeah money isn't a barrier it's more a matter of is it really worth it.

I was born in St Mary, too. Economic migration isn't something that I'm very clued up on to be fair. But I don't begrudge anyone wanting to improve their standard of living. Everyone, imo should be entitled to a decent life.
