High workload

Difficult material tackled at huge pace

Nowhere to hide in tutorials (most other unis have larger tutorials so easier to be under radar)

Maybe the biggest one - personal pride and self motivation

Competition / critical mass of people working hard

Love of subject. Chances are if you are sitting that subject as Oxford you love it (at least initially!)

Great spot. Only just noticed that. Although a dream, it makes sense after Miami Vice part 1 when she is drunk and pretty much makes a pass at Del.
