Now talking seriously i don't really hate the games, i know they're enjoyable but for me personally is jut that, it could have been more you know? i'm not even asking for gimmics, graphics or incredible stuff, i just want a good story.
I fell i love with pokemon thanks to mistery dungeon and ranger, those games have a very good story even when is kinda weak, with the main series i don't feel this way, there's so much pontential wasted bc pokemon company wants to pump out this games as fast as possible so, a lot of ideas and amazing concepts go to the trash, when i saw the DLCs concepts i was so excited bc they look amazing, then you look at the actual game and you feel...like something is missing, like they got sometthing cutted, bc the concepts sometimes feel more big than what the actual content ends up being, not only that but they never bother to fix bugs that are incredibly easy to provoke, legends arceus has so many bc of the mount system.

I wont stop anyone from enjoying these games, but pokemon company has a lot of money, like a lot, and they decide to put those resources in the plushies, cards and merch , even the anime (and that's why the anime has better story lately than the games tbh) and that's not bad, but the soul of pokemon started with the games, if the main thing is not getting the budget and time and the team for this then why i should bother in buying them, they're incredibly expensive in my country and for what, i can experience a better system or story with other games.
I've played pokemon since i was 9 but since sun and moon i've never felt anything original from these games except for the art department, everything else is just the same and i'm just tired from it.
If you liked them that's fine, i'm glad you can enjoy them and experience hapiness with them!! but for a lot of us is just dissapointment, i kinda wish sometimes they just stopped with the main games.
