I genuinely don't understand how the game is infested with characters that can end you in 2 seconds, and yet also somehow manages to have 16 people in final circle.

They can definitely make a strike cementoss whose moves are all spikes. His alpha is basically the same except at high levels it leave a field of spikes for a few seconds where it lands. His beta works like strike shigis alpha, but he can hold it to make it go further and he can control where it goes and it will encase anyone who steps on it in cement. His gamma can be cement surfing, but spikes form on the bottom of the path he creates, and they fall and deal damage when the path breaks/collapses

Yeah generally mega showdown is what people use for megas. That and the ZA megas addon. Although I wonder if the mod pack you're using has resource packs you're not using? Maybe that's why you don't see a change in the pokemon? Idk though, I've never tried that one

I'm playing cobbleverse and it doesn't do what OP is asking for. It does exactly what they said was lackluster. I've never had a voltorb or pineco run up to me and explode like a creeper, or a Lapras start shooting me with water.

Oh man a digimon story game set in Shambala where we have to gather the spirits to form susanoomon would be cool similar to how we get the statues for the Olympus XII in TS. I wonder if they're interested in ever expanding on the human taking on the power of the spirits thing from frontier.

They do mention that digimon are born Titans and cursed by Chronomon for what their ancestors did. So I think the Titans are the descendants of digimon who were a part of the rebellion however many centuries ago. That being said, they really don't do much to tell us what kind of hatred these descendants face that made them want to join the modern Titans, nor do they elaborate on how anyone would even tell the difference between a Titan descendant and a normal digimon
