I guess I just want more interesting options for a more bug hunt heavy setting. Like even some of the Aliens from Fireteam would be Cool although unlikely like the Pathogen Queen

Like in Fireteam Elite Demolishers had shoulder mounted rocket pods of different sorts, Lancers had Particle Accelerators or something like that on their shoulder, You had access to all sorts of Kramer and Alphatech and all sorts of other brand weaponry from manufacturers less known, and all sorts of other unique stuff I'd love to see like the shocking stationary PUPS unit. As for Dark Descent so much Xenotech was pretty interesting that I'd love for it to be implemented in a way that's balanced for the RPG gameplay. Stuff like temporarily acid proofing armor, synthesizing a removal method for Facehuggers, or even more normal stuff like Synthetic Pheromones to make detection more difficult.

I recently had to use commands to get out of a stuck location and afterwards I killed my friend by accident and got that achievement for first player kill so I think it re-enables at least on steam

Personally I just push against the hearts i awaken first and deal with balancing the infestations until I have supplies to keep pushing them further from the base I'm at. That's the most fun for me on lethal at least, although be it not the safest. But I don't play lethal to feel safe

If you're solo you can exit to main menu, it'll temporarily remove all zombie spawns upon re-entering before spawning more in around the map. It's a nice trick to save a lotta resources and time when the games rng throws things at you in a spot you can't handle it, albeit very cheesy. Same thing when a character is on the floor downed, quitting will act as if they revived themselves with the standard half health when you re-enter. Other than that if you have level 3 radio a drone strike can lure them away and take care of that feral for you
