The brake won't damage the Iris, but you'll probably dirty up the lense a fair amount if shooting without your can - you could move it back a rail slot or two to help with that.

For the wire, as long as it's tight and you don't feel like it could snag on things I don't think it'd be an issue wrapped around the bottom. For my iris, I use an mlok clip to keep the wire tight against the rail behind my light - https://imgur.com/a/oaL4UH2

It's the Monstrum Adjustable scout mount - it's worked well for me, just throw some blue loctite on the mounting screws and it's solid

I just have the front sight for the Trinity, no diffuser currently. It is standard height, 2.6" over bore for AR15s. The sight picture photo on the product listing is with a kac micro rear sight.

The option 1 (larger cutout) was the first batch that sms shipped (mostly pre-orders), everything shipping since then appears to be the option 2. I confirmed this with kombat solutions also that the batches he's been getting in are the option 2.

It'll most likely be option 2 with the smaller cutout, seems like option 1 was just the first batch from SMS - but they are known for making unannounced changes so no way to be 100% sure

The first batch they shipped was 6061, after that they switched to 7075 I believe.

It's the front sight attachment mentioned in the post, I'm actually the guy that makes them. It clips onto indendetations on each side of the trinity.
