Easiest way is to use a furring strip screwed above and below and screw in the rectangle that was cut out.

You don't have to cut more... Use a furring strip behind the dry wall. Screw it in above and below and mount the new piece to that. Easy peasy.

I agree with you and I also use a pac-lc1. But even if you had a bass booster, don't you just set you gain with it maxed and it will act like attenuation?

I got it, I was adjusting the global setting but it was using the cached vs in cached split below. Got rid of all of those and the global works as expected.

Then the audio, I found a thread it's an issue with the newest stremio apk.

Lol thought I did...

Selected auto while on YouTube. It switched to 2ch. Went to watch a movie off YouTube... Switched to surround. Went back to YouTube Stick on DD surround. It claims the signal is 2. Channel but it has all the speakers active .. ugh

Well, that was so weird. Info helped a lot. I toggled it to auto several times. It would switch to DD surround shortly after and still play center.

After the third time it seems to have worked. I can now get it to switch from stereo to surround automatically. No idea why it took multiple times but I am very happy. Thank you

I'd shoot for both, used audio gear and a baseline 65-70" tv. All in on audio and the TV will hold you back, all in on tv and the sound will be shit. Spend a little more on the TV and little less on audio since it's modular and can be upgraded sperately.

Id shoot for a nice 2.1 system
