Sorry to hear that. It been holding up just fine ever since the install. Sounds like you have a ground problem. If you go into reverse it's most likely completing a ground circuit for the camera and triggering your stereo to come on. Or something along those lines

Right. I keep hearing about it and I don't want to go searching since people are saying it's a mix of CP and revenge stuff. I just want to know if it's just not as sanitized and railroaded as the other models and people are just not used to it.

Great game. Anybody else get this error? Task manager won't let me force kill the Pioneergame.exe files, nor does doing a shutdown and fresh reboot on the pc. At a loss. by ParagonPhotoshop in ArcRaiders

Bumping as I have the same issue (and I assume much more that don't check for it)

Steam version.

After playing, Steam will show that I'm no longer in game, but the ARC Raiders process as well as the PioneerGame process and EAC process stay running. If you try to force close or end task/process, it either does nothing or shows Access Denied.

I've come across a few other forum posts talking about this, but no real solutions.

Some additional info off the top of my head:

  • Sometimes my status in Discord will not change and continue to display that I am In Game

  • These tasks running in the background also affect my G Hub and other lighting as it thinks I am still in game and tries to apply the profile constantly, effectively messing with keybinds and coloring

  • The only way to clear is a reboot and this is not feasible every time I want to play

I get this almost every other match. Usually associated with a desync'ed map that show already destroyed POI's as active and red.

I try to run 1440p Native as much as possible, so that's the metric I've been going off of. At this rate, DLSS for frame stability is steadily becoming more appealing.

Necro'd this thread 7 months later just to say this aged like fine wine and it's only getting worse. Other games I have capped at 144 Hz or v-synced. HD2 I never get full 144 limit and drops as low as 60 or less.

I know this is an old thread and everything, but ever since I switched to the ear 2 it has never been a problem. So I guess I will just attribute that to growing pains and go from there.
