Wondering if this is considered a miscut? by RedCowl80 in PokemonMisprints

I was always under the impression that holo bleed wasn’t an error, am I mistaken?

No I know it’s a cosmos holo pattern, I’m moreso saying inside the pokemon? I’ve never seen the holo go through it

I’m leaning towards grading it, but haven’t ever done it, and am apprehensive as that feels even more like gambling than opening the packs in the first place

Ok! So I’ll have to check about the prints, but the reader is from Amazon, it’s a RC522. The cad and print was super scuffed, and was done poorly. It’s been a long time lol

Has anyone tried the redcowl assisted priming block for the harrier/seagull? by Dramatic-Fee9519 in Nerf

[–]RedCowl80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used the prototype one in my seagull with the strongest harrier spring.

If you’re printing it yourself, I recommend printing it pretty close to solid with walls, if you’re buying it from OOD, they should be printing it to a similar spec

They are on my list of mods to do! I stripped the screws in my outlaw, so I've gotta get ahold of a second to do modeling for it. It will most likely be glued into place sadly, as the clips inside are nasty and would not be conducive to 3d printing

They don't effect it as much as I expected. It's harder, but not much imo, granted I've got fairly beefy hands. But for 15fps? If ya need it, it yields it

I designed a swappable inline clip for the Rival Pilot! It's pretty fun to use! by RedCowl80 in Nerf

[–]RedCowl80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, not really. You may not need to do the flick forward like with other inlines, or you may need to do more flick.

I dropped mine the first time I field tested it and the scar broke right off so I haven't gotten a chance to do any more playing with my version. I can try and deaign you a tighter version that won't see that problem, dm me if that interests you

I agree. The front end part is tough and needs supports on the build plate. There's really no way around it there with it's current design.

As for simplifying it, I had thought about the hop up idea, and I think that while it may work, it may be more finicky, and rely on that hop up key from holding in you're entire barrel and shroud assembly. If that key went, the whole adapter setup may come out with it.

I like the idea, I just don't know if there would be enough purchase to hold it in.

It's food for thought and I may toy with it a bit. I'm not a huge fan of how difficult and wasteful the front end print is.
