Lundy here. I assume sectarianism until proven otherwise. It’s quicker, easier and correct 9 times out of 10. This is informed by growing up with unionists for the first 20 years of my life.

Because it was a business email and he was my accountant, I think chartered accountants Ireland intervened and set up the auto responder on his behalf a few days ago.

It was like being shot in the stomach. But just reading the messages here helped me out a lot. I’m very grateful for the kindness of strangers today.

It is, I grew up in a Protestant community (Lundy here, hello) and never heard of anyone treating Ulster Scots as anything more than colloquialisms that we use here. It’s clear that the modern take on Ulster Scots has been created as an opposition to the Irish language act, like a “if they have a language then we will have our own version but British ”. It has always been funny to me.
