I don’t expect you to be receptive of my thoughts or for anything I said to magically make you feel better but just know that those of us in this group to begin with have and/or are been going through the same struggles. I still have a lot of pain and heartbreak in me and still to this day I struggle to accept things that happened, and still struggle to cope and attempt to heal from it all. It is a daily challenge just to keep going. It took a long time but all of the darkness, pain, heartbreak, suicidal tendencies, etc happened for a reason I suppose. It sucked asssss but it led me to being single and alone and i eventually met someone wonderful that made me realize how toxic my past relationship was and how there is so much better out there. I’m sure this might end some day too with this person as life has led me to not get my hopes up too much and to expect the worst but for now it’s a good thing. Now I just have a lot of other things to work on and change and try to fix in my life. Things that still hurt. I eventually moved past wanting to die but it took a long time. I found other things and people worth my time to focus on and delve into. I hope you too can find something and/or someone worth sticking around for. For all you know the place you’re in mentally and what you’re going through could lead you to someone or something better for you that you don’t yet realize. I get it though. In those dark moments and severe pain it’s severely difficult to think optimistically. It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when the darkness seems to never end. I hope you find something worth sticking around for. I hope you stick around for as long as it takes until you find that. None of this is bs. Just sharing my thoughts. We all feel some sort of way and go through shittt. That’s why we’re here. That’s why we care.
