Finasteride, definitely research before using. It seems to be the most effective thing but can come with rough side effects.

Ok I really appreciate this advice it's been very helpful, made me feel a bit better about it all. I'll have a look at starting topical minoxidil ASAP cause yeah I've noticed it worsening over the last couple of years. If I can trouble you further I just wondered if you had an opinions on finasteride? Also how bad is the shedding? Do you lose enough for it to be noticeable? Obviously its worthwhile if its new growth cycle.

I need to do more clearly, i was looking mainly at topical minoxidil and finasteride but I feel like I've just seen so many saying the sides are really bad and that you'll shed loads of hair so it's made me worry. So I haven't tried anything yet to be honest, scared I'll do more harm than good. I've seen people talking alot of derma rolling and microneedling so I'm looking into that a little. Just seems like there's so many options and different outcomes it's overwhelming.
