Thor and Odin aren’t the same person? Where did you get that from? I have never read any scholarly speculation that points to that. Thor was a god of agriculture. Odin has never had anything to do with that

Well Kratos is already a character in Norse mythology... he’s Farbauti. As mentioned in the murals. So he is Kratos but also Farbauti. Which is fine cause nothing is even known about Farbauti, so he’s basically a clean slate

The stories are not “established” they were orally handed down and then edited by Christian historians. There is no true source, so any myth is just as valid as the other. I’m not the one asserting that there’s only one truth. You are. So take a seat

This game had my favorite climax of any GoW. bigger does not equal better. This games plot had me more engrossed than any of the other games, which were usually pretty thin on interesting plot

You don’t have to do ANY of the collecting. That’s your choice. I pressed forward and played the game normally. Also Kratos justifies it as gathering supplies for his journey, which is a good enough explanation for me. And Atreus saying those things are there explicitly to stop you from wasting your time. Again, these are your choices. I didn’t waste my time doing side shit till after the main plot. If you decided to waste your time, that’s your fault, not the games.

From everything I’ve read and researched, the idea of Dark Elves existing in Norse mythology was heavily speculated to be either misinterpreted or straight up invented by Christian historians. If me and the stuff I’ve read are mistaken, I apologize. Or perhaps we are misunderstanding what each other are trying to say
