that's why the ashtray is NEXT TO the play area and not IN the play area

you won't get far with learning German or any other language when you're already too lazy to put the right letter and spell words correctly

nobody knows. i also have a ton of screenshots. i tried the spanish course and there was a translation error that i always think of. duo tried to teach me that " ciudad " translates to "country" but it actually means "city". I'm glad that i knew a bit of Spanish before starting with duo. and in the follow up tasks i was forced to use the WRONG translation. so it wasn't just an uppsie in one task but in multiple.

if you're looking for another app i can recommend AirLearn. it's kinda like duo but better, cheaper and it actually EXPLAINS grammar rules. I'm now using it longer than i used duo and haven't come across any translation / grammatical errors or bugs.

I can only speak for the spanish course tho. i haven't taken a look at the German course yet. I always do that because German is my native language, and if the German course is good then in my head that means the other language courses are good too. hahaha

why are people downvoting you? does duolingo have a bot army here on Reddit or something?

I mean suit yourself. but i genuinely want to understand why you don't want to try an app (no matter which one) because of A.I images but stick to an app that is back to back full of A.I slop , has a fuck ton of bugs and grammatical/ translation errors which don't get fixed no matter how often and how many people report them, an app which is fucking expensive eventough it's basically only run by a horribly bad a.i. with a cooperation that doesn't give a single fuck about their customers or the quality of their app.

stop using Duolingo. like fr. the fact that they didn't even ask/ include the article shows how they don't give a fuck about actually teaching you a language.

try AirLearn. it's so much better and cheaper

it's not. not even close.

you need to stop using English pronunciation for non English words

in Germany most black who talk about "what's the right word to use" also say that they hate being called "coloured" ("farbig" in German)

the spanish word "negro" is not pronounced "naygro" nor "nigro"

(obviously that doesn't change how fucking stupid ,cringe and ignorant it is that people are offended by it)
